Thanks for accepting! I enjoy your posts and you always have great insight.

Profile pic is Fay Wray. It's a publicity shot for either Doctor X or Black Moon. Not sure which.

Oh man! I had the same issue with buying bookcases until I started building shelves with brackets using 1x4s and 1x2s! On a half wall, these DIY (cheap) shelves hold well over 500 titles. They're durable and they don't take up and floor space at all. I have two floor-to-ceiling shelves that hold over 1000 each along with more conventional built-ins and bookcases for the rest. No choice left but to build another shelving unit to house the rest of my growing collection now. I have pics of these easy-to-build shelves if you're ever interested because the kitchen; bathrooms and even the living room are off-limits for me now. lol

I'm with you all the way when it comes to Kino, and I ordered about 15 or so with their latest sale along with the Warner Archive sale and another 10-ish titles. Kino is definitely a favorite for me as well along with Arrow and VS and Second Sight because I'm still a sucker for the CE/LE boxed sets, just like I was with vinyl.

    400?????

What?! lol. I had a decent-sized stack of a couple hundred that I was ready to sell. I even sat down to list them on eBay. But as I looked at each individual release along with the extras and their own individual packaging, it was like selling a pet or a favorite nephew. lol. I just couldn't bring myself to do it, even knowing full well that I have an "upgrade" already on the shelf, I got nervous and sweaty and anxious and just couldn't do it.

Mad props to you, my friend. Maybe I'll be able to follow through like you one of these days, but for now, I seriously just continue building shelves in different rooms to accommodate and validate my addiction to physical media. I did the same thing for years with vinyl, and all of that was lost in no time flat with a flash flood years ago. I swore then that I would never collect anything again.

    Yet, here we are.

Hey! Thank you as well. I keep telling myself that I should downsize my collection as well, but every time I try, I find some reason to move titles from my "sell" stack to their spot(s) back on the shelf. Thankfully not a ton of title reveals are really knocking me off my feet either. I'll keep on trying to focus on the downsizing and emotionally detach myself somehow. lol
