It may be worth noting for the recent Fury 4K steelbook, it doesn’t include ‘The Tanks of Fury (1080p, 46:02): A broad overview that covers the making of the film and World War II tank warfare. It's presented in documentary style, intermixing vintage war footage, film clips, and behind-the-scenes visuals’ that was included on the UHD disc in the previous two disc release.

Would it have killed you to actually check out the Dolby Vision grade option in the new steelbook release of The Fury instead of simply linking to your previous review for the HDR10 only release? Do you have any integrity and passion left?

I think you missed that the previous version of the 4K release of Stripes in the Columbia Classics Collection didn’t include Dolby Vision. So, pointing to that review for this Video review seems to be an error. It would be helpful to have a review of how the Dolby Vision looks for both versions of the film on this new release, which does differ from the previous 4K release. Thank you.

The Sandpiper Pictures blu ray of Blame it on Rio includes the theatrical trailer,so it’s not exactly a barebones blu ray.

Hi, Ken. Nice review of Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex... . Glad to see someone wrestling an Allen title by the horns in these reactionary times. One thing, however: I wouldn't blame Sandpiper for the lack of extras on this release--that's standard M.O. for all of Woody's films, as Allen doesn't allow extras of any kind (at least within the U.S.) on his discs. Sad, but true... Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your review of The Three Stooges Collection. However, you say it has every short film they made, and that's not true. 100 shorts are included, but they made 190. Anyone looking for a truly complete collection of Stooges shorts will be missing 90 if they buy this.

Shotgun Stories features an informative audio commentary by the director, so you can update the review and listen to a great commentary!

Thanks for your review of Seinfeld in 4K. However, it does not include several special features from the DVDs, including several significant documentaries (such as the hour long doc about the show’s origins on Vol. 1), archival TV appearances and promos, Sein-imations, the “Notes About Nothing” trivia subtitle tracks and easter eggs.

Your review of the recent 4K release of "A League of Their Own" is missing vital information. This release is encoded with Dolby Vision, the previous release was HDR10 only. There should be a concise review of the differences between the two HDR grading. Second, you make no mention of what format the music video is. Is it SD, HD? Lastly, you indicated this release now includes trailers. Again, are the trailers SD or HD? Please be specific on all aspects in your reviews. I would appreciate if you updated your current review to reflect these items - especially the HDR. If the difference is neglible from the HDR10 to Dolby Vision, there is no reason to double dip. We collectors need to know these specifics!

    Hello!

I'm curious about your review of the audio on the 4K UHD of La Femme Nikita. You write: ""LFE output is aggressive and chest-thumpingly satisfying, even if a few explosions and other low-end elements sound a wee bit canned thirty-five years later. Likewise, the rear speakers are suitably engaging, despite a somewhat dated sound design that doesn't always fully take advantage of every channel."

Well, according to Robert Harris and other forum members over at Home Theatre Forum, the French audio mix is terrible - something has clearly gone wrong in the mastering. There is also no LFE channel. Have you only listened to the dubbed English version?
