Have you ever seen Imamura's Vengeance is Mine? Any idea if Criterion will release it on Blu-ray? Eureka released it 2 years ago but apparently the transfer leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Too bad Criterion don't bother to offer international shipping! I might have picked up Pale Flower, Seven Samurai and Carlos. Hopefully there's a sale on Amazon soon. Yeah, I'm still waiting for the Fernando di Leo set and Star Wars OT to arrive. It's been a couple of weeks now. Traffic is a great film, love it.

Have you noticed another Finnish film, Iron Sky, is coming soon..Seriously I don't know what's wrong with us Finns. First we kidnapped Santa and now Nazis on the Moon. Looks pretty badass though.

Congrats, Todd! That's great. Don't spoil her too much. "The great films only get better with more viewings." - I can't agree more. Just watched Rififi and it definitely hit me much more this time. Loved it. Even the menus and packaging with 4 different cover arts are superb. I'm taking some time off of purchasing new films and I'm about to go out and try to find a new TV stand/storage system for my living room. Sin Nombre..soon, my friend, soon.

Watched 21 Grams again last night. Enjoyed it just as much as I did on the first time and while I definitely recommend it, it can leave you feeling emotionally overwhelmed, especially if you have young children(like you do). I'm quite sure you've read Svet's review thoroughly but just in case...

I think I'm going to revisit Rififi next. It's been a while since I've seen it. Hope all is well.
