You're welcome. No I have never seen De Zaak Alzheimer but thanks for recommending it. I haven't seen any BD version of it but I'll have to look for a DVD copy. Looks really good. I watched Katyn last night and enjoyed it. Perhaps a tad too long. If you enjoy war-related films I'd recommend that one too. I really love WW2 films and I've been trying to find more films in that genre. Any reccos? I'm about to purchase Flame and Citron soon.

I'm trying to save up for a region free player(again). I doubt I can live much longer without some Criterions.

Hope you're doing well. Not sure if you've seen Winter in Wartime but I definitely recommend it. Brilliant Dutch film! I have the UK disc but it's available in the US via Sony. Note the UK edition is region free and a bit cheaper.

You have some great titles on order! I have been trying to be good lately, but with some of the upcoming Criterions... and the B&N sale.... I feel a 'bad' spell coming on again.

Finally watched Memories of Murder. Sad and hilarious at the same time. Great film and I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for recommending it.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm disappointed it seems to be region A locked as the disc got such a glowing review here. UK edition is bare bones and not sure if the Finnish version is identical to the US one either. I really need that region free player...

Nice! That is a fantastic week! I agree! I love how the slip for Wu Xia is different than the movie cover, too. It is really neat, I'm excited to see what you think of the film.

I have Attack the Block arriving today as well, and I actually received my Dazed and Confused criterion early. The packaging is awesome for it. You'll dig it!
