Thanks for the comment. In regards to the 2012 Total Recall, I found it to be an overall disappointment, and a bit boring. The movie had lots of style and fairly breathtaking visuals, but was missing the sense of urgency and fun present in the original...I also felt that Farrell wasn't right for the role.

Everyone says that Oppo is the way to go. I love the pic on my S790 also. I'll adjust the video settings(during playback) after my Darbee adjustment. Looks phenomenal. But I'm part of the crowd that likes a little bling to my picture. I like reality with accurate colors. Keep playing with your settings.

I just changed my upstairs centre speaker config. Will post new pics soon. I found the tv too high when above the paradigm centre. I have removed the tv riser, moved the tv forward on the ENT unit, and used a spare pair of speaker stands behind the tv, sitting on the ent unit, with the centre speaker now above the tv. Sounds ok, but will tweak a bit more by using so rubber wedges to angle it down toward the seating position. My wife rolled her eyes.

Hello Tobandax. Thanks for the info about the Lian Li solution. I will do more research on the product. I'm hoping to one day have a "One HTPC does all" configuration in the near future. The Lian Li looks like it would be a very effective storage vehicle. Thanks again.

Thanks for your comments. Idgibson76, The Lian Li are used for 1080p hi-def movies and shows. The convenience of having them "on tap" is great. The number of external hard drives became crazy, and with each one needing a power point, made things impossible. The Lian Li solution allows for future upgrades when they make 10tb hard drives I try to keep them organised so one box is movies, one for tv drama and comedies, one for sci fi. I have used my old Samsung story 2tb ext drives under the centre speaker for HD and SD documentaries., music and photo back ups.

Thanks for the comments you left for me. Complete? You know better than that. It's a never ending journey. I must say that I am quite happy with what I have with both movies and music now. Music more than ever. I've learned that learning cost some money. I really like a direct firing tweeter for music over the omnidirectional tweeter. I also think going too big can be too much for a smaller room. I have much more to learn but I'm enjoying the education.
