Your right man.. I feel like the sound is even more precise now with the 28's, clearer as well, bass is tighter. I know in the manual it recommends using the spikes after the break in period. So I'm glad I did it.

I put the spikes on my 28's, I had a couple of corian tile's that I put underneath them to protect the wood floors. I reran my Arc calibration. I'll let you know what I think. I figure the spikes won't hurt anything.

Thanks, I will get some pics up. I got the icon series I believe, this one also has some wood on it, its 2 tone. Do you feel like you get better performance with the spikes on your 28's? I have wood flooring so that's why I haven't put them on yet.

Hey do you have the spikes on the bottom of your OMD-28's? I just added a new stand to my front soundstage today. I got rid of the center channel stand, added a nice bdi tv stand. I put my OMD-C2 on top and all of my gear on the shelves. I got rid of my av rack that I had all my components on. Saved me alot of room to add more wall units for blu-rays It looks great. Your stand inspired me

No problem, unfortunately the box is a bit of a mess and not a great example. But I didnt own a chop saw or a router at the time so that the best I could muster.

Hey Bluvette got that plate amp on here for ya. I forgot you had the two Epik Empires, it should be the same amp your empires use.(I know way overkill for a transducer) It is left over from some issues I had with my Epik Tower. The previous amp always shut off so the owner Chad sent me this amp as a replacement it never sounded right in the tower so I decided not to use it and instead use it for my transducer. I just checked out your gallery and noticed you got a Clark Synthesis as well and a Dayton amp, (parts express?) Is this a recent addition? If so, hope you like it! Take it easy

I like the stand. Looks very nice. I thought about getting a stand like that. I'm happy with my center channel stand so far with my dual legends up front. I just got a NAD T955 5 channel amp which is awesome so far. Very clean and detailed sound. I also go the Anthem MRX300 receiver that I'm using as a pre/pro. ARC calibration is great.
