neither title (edward, RH) was given Digital HD, because of age they would have fallen under the old system, i was told by the studio's customer support team that there is no plan to put the back catalog (everything prior to FoxRedeem) into the system at this time.

Edward and RH qualify in that group, but if it gets Itunes HD i would be very surprised.

Sound of Music as old as the title is, getting Itunes HD was totally unexpected by the Studio. Rocky Horror was released in 1975, Scissorhands was sometime in the 80s or 90s.

I don't know if Fox has issued Digital HD's in the back catalog as far back as the 70s, if either have had digital's issued to them prior, i'll let you know. (in rocky horror's case).

Digital's may have been put on the 80s ones, but under the old system, if scissorhands is old enough to use the old system along with Rocky Horror, than that edition would be required.

I don't blame you for waiting for itunes on either or both, i meant to say older Universal code slips are designed to function like the Fox System where its once and once only, but to be careful on some of the older ones as they have been retooled to function like current stock (being able to use both portions). that's cool of them, they're #1.

i am going to buy more titles as a collector under FoxRedeem, to gain a grip of using codes that are written as a choice, but only redeem once, some older universal's written the same way as fox's system, and recognize i need to be careful with those as some have had their slips retooled to accept both Itunes and UV like it is with current content from that distributor.

I get FoxRedeem is used for Itunes or Google Play, i get its used for Vudu/Flixster directly in the services.

Sound of Music with Itunes HD, i praise the studio for a job well done in putting that on there, as not many do that themselves through the companies various other subsidiaries like MGM, etc.

I hope Edward Scissorhands and Rocky Horror work well with the new process and not cause problems.

simply, the general retail FoxRedeem codes would not require CSR assistance (the icons line would)

what i mean by following the family icons steps you gave me the opposite way would be to bypass or ignore customer support, which you would be required to deal with on the icons line if they become UV or GP codes (if itunes doesn't show as offered).

The order of events if i choose Google Play:
    1. go to foxredeem, enter the code, pick google play
    2. if included Itunes and UV than die

the order of events if you choose iTunes is,
    1. go to foxredeem, enter the code.
    2. it generates another code that goes directly in Itunes

UV or GP is for catalog fox stock, Itunes does not exist on that (except for ones using the DEG online system that Sony stopped and Warner is only using til 2017, Itunes SD, attached to the DVD of the feature itself). was told by the studio in that situation, UV alone requires the FoxRedeem translation. the DVD does not require that from the same sheet.
