Damn that's a good list. Glad to see you saw and liked Phantom Thread, hoping to catch that and the other Picture nominees in the next couple of weeks. Sad to see Logan drop out of the top ten (and Star Wars at #3 ugh), but lets not open that can of worms here

    Sure, you got a link?

Surprised you wrote em so soon. Gonna wait til the last minute for mine. No point writing blurbs for those last 5-10 movies since they might end up dropping off the list anyway lol

No worries mate, it's top notch. I'm slowly but certainly getting mine sorted. Got the first ten write ups sorted and getting some pics ready, I think it's going to be one I'm most proud of.

Nah just gonna sit tight for a price drop, or that mythical extended cut.

Yeah +100% on the Star Wars fandom being crap these days. Honestly part of me was looking for an excuse to just check out of Star Wars for good, and Last Jedi gave it to me lol.

I didn't really get the hype on Shape of Water. I mean it's good, don't get me wrong, but in a lot of ways it's GDT's most conventional movie despite the subject matter, and frankly it's downright silly at times too. Honestly it doesn't come within shouting distance of Pan's Labyrinth, not that the movies have much in common other than being historical fantasies, but as far as GDT movies go, it's far from his best.

But still good and worth watching. You may get more out of it than I did

Yup, just did. You're gonna get on my case for not having seen some of em still (like your #2.... ) so I thought I'd wait til I'd seen a few more. Nice pics, too, especially using a Noir one for Logan. Also didn't know you liked Last Jedi, let alone that much. Ugh...

I know! Ugh. Z looks amazing but I know it's something I gotta be in the mood for, can't just throw it on whenever lol. I'll try to watch it this week.

Picked up War of the Apes so I'll finally give that a look. But this is the time of year that I start going to the theaters. Three Billboards, Darkest Hour look good. Others coming up. Finally get to put my Moviepass to proper work lol
