I had a whole "spiel" for your review of the Matrix trilogy and found out I'm limited to 1000 characters. LOL Geez!! Mine was 3214. No way I can cut that so I'll say this Ben. Your expectations for the last 2 films were too lofty, you were expecting too much because you pleasantly shocked by the 1st one. Plus, you review the movies as separate while they form 1 cohesive story that is brilliantly done. What hurt the last 2movies was over the top acting by most of the "newbies" in them and bad dialogue written by the Wachowskies. If you watch the last 2 from this perspective, you'll see what I mean. I was baffled how you thought the Neo vs 100 Smiths was long and boring. LOL I guess this got my pt across, although my original "piece" was MUCH better. lol

Hey Ben,

I am new to BluRay.com and I was just reading your review of Vicky Cristina Barcelona and I see that you ranked the audio as very low. I, myself, got this from Netflix and I was perplexed that it only had that type of mix. After some research I found out that this is actually Woody Allen’s mix by choice. Apparently most of his movies are mono. I just found this very interesting and wanted to drop you a line to let you know, even though Weinstein stated that the mix is different on the packaging, it was good 'ol neurotic Woody's decision.

Anyway great reviews and keep up the good work .

I have just read your review of DIE ANOTHER DAY and I thought that it was something I have written myself. Word for word, I totally agree with everything. I'll just add a little something about Halle Berry coming out of the sea (the Ursula Andress scene) : she cannot even come close to a strand of hair of Ursula Andress as a woman and/or as an actress - even if Ursula was not Meryl Streep. I'm comparing different blu-ray edition (french & US essentialy).
I've read your review of King Kong (US), and I was wondering if this is the best one regarding audio and video quality?

It would be great to see directly on your web site the country edition that rewiewers recommand (even if this is not region free!)...

For example a reviewer recommands Nikita US (but it would be great to see it with the caracteristics)
