yes i'm unfortunate enough to have not experienced that aspect, relatively speaking that xtra boost would suit a 40 ft screen no doubt. Im sorry too, I thought your Darbee unit was a small external plugin device, did noty realize OPPO had them inbuilt, how sweet.

can your VRS and Darbee units be used on 4k material?. I wouldn't be surprised if something like that wasn't too far away.

Kinda upgraded. I have a 4K projector. However I don't have a 4K player. The titles I have watched I have borrowed my mates Samsung 4K player. Just to do some comparing between 4K and 1080P. If I go 4K I need to upgrade my AVR as well. No HDMI 2.2. So I'm kinda on the fence about 4K. Nothing I've seen so far has made me crave 4K. 1080P with a bit of detail enhancement (I use VRS and Darbee together) really looks 4K anyway. Without getting into new hardware. I might skip 4K. I'm really waiting to see if Oppo has something cool. If I don't see something cool then I will stick to up scaled 1080P with detail enhancement.

Sorry to say man,but I've left ship and upgraded to an Avid ingenium turntable with a denon sl-160 pick-up and an unknown arm.Sounds glorious. Not that the pro-ject didn't,but abit gloriouser

If you can get hold of it,I'd recommend getting Tron legacy soundtrack on vinyl. One of the best sounding I've got,and a beautiful album.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods

Hi.Have been listening to my 2M blue for a few records now,and not sure if it's worth the upgrade.Little bit more detail, but it just confirms what a gem that red one is.Maybe that 2M black is the way to go,but have to modify the swing arm,and not sure how to do that, nor if I'd like to fork out the cash for that unknown quantity.

    Hope this helps

Hi there, thanks for comment in my HT thread. What needle are you using on your pro-ject TT?I have ordered the 2Mblue to see if that bumps the SQ up abit from the 2M red.The store said the 2M black wouldn't fit without modifying my swing arm.The red is ok,but want something with abit more oomph.

Oh, really sorry. I got those years ago. In the late 90's. I bought a certain Marantz sound decoder and Marantz supplied the signs with it. It was interesting the Theaters at the time were using the same signs. I wouldn't know where to get them from now.
