-briefly emerges from Xenoblade 3 for air-

Three Houses was easily my 2019 game of the year and yet it didn’t even get nominated fir many if any rewards which is absurd. The storytelling and character work are outstanding…but its not pretty or gritty enough I suppose

I had two friends that tried Dread and hated it because of the EMMI, while I found them a fun challenge mostly. On the Breath of the Wold climbing I’d say the internet grossly exaggerates the rain issue, though it is a bit annoying when it does happen its more of an inconvenience.

Last of Us being $70 is just flat out absurd full stop. More crap from the new Naughty Dog under Druckman

I honestly have no clue since I haven’t ever had to use it. I’ll have to remember to check it.

Which body style was it? I remember liking each style leas than the previous, but that is admittedly unfair against the first Slim since the original PS3 is glorious and will finally be able to be back out of my closet when I get my new house.

As of like two months ago all the Ratchet PS3 games were still up and go for $9.99. I bought a 320GB hard drive for mine and went redownload all the stuff I ever bought that didn’t fit on my stock 80GB drive before they decide to up and shut the store down on us.

This week went by fast But who knows how long the next one will be.

The superhero danger stuff wasn’t what he ruined their lives with though. It was their college declinations and everything else that came about from his choices. That’s the main reason he decided they were better off without him. The superhero danger stuff was just on top. The movie shows they are quite happy post-spell and he didn’t want to mess that up for them.

Had he told them like you are suggesting I’d be just as unhappy with it as you are because then he would have went through the entire plot of the movie and learned nothing from it.

    Derb that you?

It made perfect sense to me since he had ruined their lives because of his decisions not inherently because he was Spider-Man and villains were after them like is usually presented. He decided to make the personal sacrifice so that they could be happy without him. Whether that is true or not who knows for now but that was his journey through all three movies learning to be more responsible and make decisions for the better of everybody not just himself.

Well you hated some of the most widely praised parts of the film (minus the first one)

I rewatched all the movies and slotted it in at third best behind Spider-Man 2 and Into the Spider-Verse.

I think I used the huddle maybe twice throughout the whole game. I was more than halfway through and didn't even know how to do them honestly

The combat was my biggest 'meh' of the game since you basically hold R2 while waiting for the specials to recharge. But I agree it was definitely WAY better than originally expected because I originally thought it looked like crap when it debuted.

I'm picking up my special edition of Horizon tomorrow morning...and then going watch a couple movies because of timing reasons. Then I'll be playing all day Saturday. Maybe a bit tomorrow night but not sure how tired I'll be by the time I get home.

Well luckily Microsoft has made yet another acquisition that doesn’t impact me in the slightest

What did you think of Guardians?

I know I 100% typed out a reply to that last message because I remember saying something a long the lines of Sonic Colors was standard 3D Sonic nothing impressive but not horrible…

Agreed, in the current age of dozens of accessibility options there not being even a basic save feature in a full on retail game is ridiculous.

Since then I’ve played and beaten Sonic Colors Ultimate and Trine 3. Next is either Knack 2 or Guardians since Kena still hasn’t come back in stock for my Target pre-order

Well I put about 5 hours into Returnal and this game is definitely not for me. The gimmick annoyed me much more than I expected it would. I think its even more frustrating because the gameplay was fun but is locked behind an irritation. I think it wouldn’t be as bad if you didn’t lose basically everything. Oh well, live and learn I guess. At least it only cost me $28.

I’d rather pay half of Tom Cruise’s price for Star Lord

In summary you apparently have horrible luck this black Friday season

I’m planning to start on my copy this weekend sometime to see how I like it. I’m off next week so maybe the save feature won’t have to come into play too much.
