Sorry, I don't a thing about what you saw. I interviewed the man who did the special effects, which was published in Fangoria and learned about the never seen spider walk scene which caused Warner Bros., years later to put it back in the film. I even spoke to the make-up man, and the priest who played a character in the film - but never heard of another, longer edition that ran a long as you state. It's interesting however. I also did the audio commentary on the sequel, THE HERETIC and know that director as well. I don't doubt you. If you remember any of the scenes you saw I'd love to know.

I had sent you a message yes sir. I know you worked in the business at one time and I know you know The Exorcist quite well. I saw a cut on Cinemax back in 2006 that was like a super director’s cut is the only way I can describe it. I was 3 hours. I didn’t have a way to record it at the time, but i watched it twice. East version first then west. I’ve looked for all the scenes on YouTube that were added to this cut but can’t find anything. I’m NOT CRAZY. Lol. I know what in watched that day back in August 2006....twice. Maybe you would know a little about that?

Just did a sort of public reply about STM Extended. I invite you to correct me on any of the facts in the post. If I am wrong, that is fine. I will make every effort to correct it. Otherwise, I do hope you will one day do an article to set the record straight about STM Extended. I should get it in my mail box today. Thanks!

    Hello, Scott.
Replying to the forum piece on Aspect Ratios. Being a screenwriter I was interested and noticed you were, too. Hope to keep in touch.

I'm sorry for not posting regularly so I'll be posting and updating reviews from my collection now. It a matter of getting back into the swing of things - not having my website now, THE DIGITAL CINEMA.
