howdy, my Daughter and I just got back from NYCC and we did two days of CosPlay! it was a blast! hope you have been well.

sweet! my Daughter has done Poison Ivy a couple of times at NYCC. she likes the character and enjoys trying out different versions of her, though, she says she really likes the version from Batman The Animated Series. she also actually likes the Uma Thurman Batman movie version too.

hope to see some of your cosplay characters whenever you can show them.

cool and thanks for responding. who do you cosplay as? is there one particular character you do or do you cosplay as many different characters? I always do old school Jack Kirby Thor. my daughter always does Gamora and Poison Ivy. we will be suiting up for the premiere weekend of Avengers: Infinity War next weekend at a giant mall. I'd love to see some of that a fellow cosplayer does so, if you have got some pictures of yourself at events, I'd love to see them. as I mentioned, you can see me, just check in the conventions thread.

LOL no, not Mila but I can see what you're getting at for sure! The Thor piece was a model kit that I modified slightly - as I did with all of those kits. The Spiderman for example, I used actual strands of copper speaker wire to make the webbing from his wrist as well as the webb in the lower background. I don't even know if those kits are still available actually. Did those about 18 years ago. Holy crap I'm getting old!!!
