    Hi Geoff!

I very much appreciate your Superman II 4K UHD analysis.

Stay Super! Have a great day!

Sorry if I annoyed you, I just tried to make an analysis of the broader market and Blade Runner 4K. I'll delete some of my messages, to clean up a bit visitor messages' page.

And I still find it close to unwatchable, so badly compressed as it is. Oh well, ho-hum, etc. If you like it, great, but there’s no need to keep returning to it in my visitor messages. Thanks.

Indeed, but the compression’s so wonky (IMO) that I find it hard to watch.

But Blade Runner's cinematography is still so gorgeous though, it's such an inherently great-looking film, that they would need to screw things up really, really badly to make the film not look beautiful.

Ehhhh. It’s good but not great, they’ve done more fudgery for the 4K transfer like hitting it with lots of sharpening whenever they missed a focus pull in the original photography, but it’s been selectively DNR’ed in other spots. It’s weird.

Despite the compression issues, what do you think about Blade Runner's 4K blu-ray in general?

Thanks! I've read his review now, he basically says the 4K blu-ray looks truly stunning aside from very, very small nitpicks that he says pretty much no one would notice. So, pretty similar to your review.

    Thanks for the reply!
