On the Miami Vice/The Kingdom review, on the Miami Vice side, you mentioned that the entire film was shot on HD Video. The opening scene of the boats on the water were shot on film, because Michael Mann stated the digital rigs couldn't work in the waterproofing covers. And the slo-mo also wasn't up to par for his liking.

Yeah, I'm messaging you because I haven't seen any major reviews on this year's Blu-ray releases by Paramount Home Entertainment (those being The Tuxedo, The Legend of Bagger Vance, A Night at the Roxbury, Mommie Dearest, The Stepford Wives and In & Out) and the finally-released Blu-ray releases of DreamWorks Animation's The Road to El Dorado, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, and Shark Tale.

I noticed an error in the beginning of your BrightBurn Blu-ray review, regarding the writers of this movie. (Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn being the writers, not James Gunn and Kenneth Huang)

Per your recent review of MST3K S11, you will be happy to know that a couple weeks ago they successfully kickstarted a 3rd season of the revived series.

Dear Mr. Liebman, I am Douglas Soesbe, writer of the Robin Williams' film Boulevard. I am writing to say how touched I was by your smart, insightful review of our film. I truly appreciate it. Best, Douglas Soesbe.

One correction on your SHREK 4k steelbook review. It is NOT a Best Buy exclusive. I got mine at Target.

Thank you for the review of Zombeavers. You might mention there was a Best Buy Blu-ray exclusive (pressed) in May 2015. AB

Thank you for the review of 2012. One question, is the infamous teaser trailer (with Tibet getting flooded) with Wendy Carlos' The Shining Clock music one of the trailers on the 4K UHD disc? Would love to know.
    Many Thanks,

Thank you for your efforts Martin. I am curious about the 2019 Blu-Rays for Star Wars Ep 4-6. Are they as good or better than the previous versions? I enjoyed your reviews of the 4K discs and want to pick up the movies on Blu-Ray. It's either the 2019 4K releases or the Complete Saga. Thanks.

    Hello Martin,

I am confused by your reviews of Hustlers. In your Blu-ray review, the video sounds like the best video ever, "picture-perfect...exquisite...first-rate." On the UHD review, while you say the Blu-ray is "excellent", you make it sound like a video disaster. Of the UHD, "It's alive in a way the Blu-ray cannot approach, clear and refined in a way that is practically a transformative viewing experience compared to Blu-ray, which appears dull and flat by comparison."

After reading the Blu-ray review, I was going to order that at half the price of the UHD, since both have the Atmos soundtrack. After reading the UHD review, I remain perplexed on which one to choose. Some UHDs aren't worth double the price of the Blu-ray and some are. I depend on reviews to decide. I can't figure it out in this case. Thanks.
