Hey Martin, I'm sure you're busy with your reviewing schedule at the moment, but do you think you could possibly squeeze in a review of the Blu-ray release of Teen Titans Go! To the Movies? It's one of my favorite animated movies of the year and would be nice to see your point of view on it. If not no worries, just figured no harm in asking.

    Many thanks,
    Gavin

concerning your Incredibles 2 4K review:

"...including music and dialogue delivery and the need to crank the track a little above calibrated, reference norms..."

Yet, you still gave it 4.5 stars? Should be lowered to 3.5-4 stars!

Disney has been trending front-heavy, lower than reference volume, lazy surround effects mixes for nearly all their films for some time now, obviously a compromise in the production process because of the large number of films they produce: please call them out on it every single time, we do not appreciate this compromise in cinemas nor being delivered on the discs, and, apparently, some studios do read blu-ray.com reviews. This is especially important since they are likely to acquire Fox, and, we do not want this compromise to be passed on to Fox titles as well.

    Thank you.

    Hey, Martin.

In your Godzilla vs. Destoroyah / Godzilla vs. Megaguirus Blu-ray review, the Movie, Video, Audio, Extras and Overall scores are all wrong. Can you fix them? That would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey, Marty.

Really sorry to hear you were ill, and hope you're doing fine now. No problem at all on the speed of reply... this really wasn't anything with any urgency.

I was however glad to get your reply, and see that the input was useful to you, which is all I was aiming for. Normally I find one (or maybe two) such errors in each review. But this was a real anomaly (6?), which spurred me to action.

None of which degrades the overall high quality (and value) of your commentaries. Which I have benefited from a lot, and I thank you for.

    Best regards,

    - Mark

[ CONTINUED. that 1,000 character limit is a real communications inhibitor. ]

are a handful of examples. I wasn't scrubbing the entire review for errors or typos... these are just a sampling that smacked me upside the head, with enough frequency to finally motivate me to look you up to comment on them.

In the scheme of things, these are no big deal. However, you definitely have an impressive mastery of the language, so when one of these pops up, it's more jarring to the flow than it might otherwise be.

I just wanted to pass that mild criticism along. Keep up the good work.

    Best regards,

    - Mark

    Greetings, Mr. Liebman.

I'm a long-time reader of your reviews, and have found them very helpful.

One thing that has bothered me a bit over the years though is that your proof-reader seems to let a fair number of mistakes slip through. Usually only 1 or 2 in each review, but in reading over Solo: A Star Wars Story, I immediately ran into more than usual (on the 4K version):

    - "The mud pit scene transitions the mud _form_ a light gray to a very dark..." (from)

    - "this UHD is the better bet overall if for no other reason _that_ some more stable clarity..." (than)

    - "Some _?_ the film's more intense action scenes..." (of)

    - "It's also worth _nothing_ that little of this matters..." (noting)

    - "...a little too intermixed with surrounding details in the most _pitch_ action scenes..." (pitched)

    - "maybe the release date proximity to The Last Jedi (not to mention the _sharp_ _divide_ responses to that movie)..." (sharply divided)

    [ to be continued... ]

    Hi Martin,

My name is Matt Frame, director of 'Camp Death III in 2D!'

Enjoyed your Friday the 13th Part III blu ray review and thought my film might be up your alley.

    It's a comedy/horror parody of 'Friday the 13th Part III 3D.'

We just completed the film and are about to launch our festival run.

We'd be honored if you would consider watching the first 5 minutes of the film and/or the trailer.

If you dig what you see then feel free to watch further.

Let me know if I can send you a password for our online screener.

    Many thanks!
    Matt.

    Hi Martin,

Was going through your Bean review and thought it might be worth mentioning that while this release doesn't have any special features whatsoever, the 2010 one (available everywhere except the US but region free) actually does have a couple (deleted scenes and preview of the sequel).
