In two years, you still haven't updated the audio section of the Fast & Furious 6 4K review.

    Hello, Martin.

I wrote you an email about the 25th Anniversary Blu-ray of FORREST GUMP.

I looked at your review for the 25th Anniversary Edition of FORREST GUMP on Blu-ray (1080p). I already know that it's sourced from a 4K restoration, but I just want to know a few things: Can you really see both the natural film grain and better details in everything? Also, is this really better than the 2009 Blu-ray (which I was told was from a 4K remaster), and if so, is it worth getting?

It looks like you compared the UHD release of Godzilla (1998) to the initial release of Godzilla on Blu-ray instead of the later Mastered in 4K Blu-ray release. I can tell by looking at the 1080p photos you posted. It appears you sourced those photos from the 2009 Blu-ray release and not the superior 2013 remasterd release. Not really a fair comparison in my honest opinion, perhaps you forgot the Mastered in 4K Blu-ray release existed.

Hey Martin, are you planning to review all of the other DreamWorks Animation catalog titles from Universal soon (i.e. The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, Chicken Run, etc.)?

Would you like to review the blu ray releases of a goofy movie and a extremely goofy movie when they come out?

Hi Martin. Can you re-check your copy of Bumblebee 4K UHD to see if you notice any audio / video sync issues? A number of people in the Bumblebee UHD thread are reporting the problem with numerous different UHD players. I've personally tested on a Panasonic 820, Sony X800 and Xbox One X and all show the sync issue. Chapter 2 is a good place to verify once Cena starts his dialog.

Time to revisit your The Longest Day Blu-ray review:

"If this is what classic black-and-white films are going to look like on Blu-ray, I enthusiastically recommend that the studios bring them on." DNR processing has taken its toll. The studios are not following that direction. They want their classic films to be fully restored to how they originally looked, not how someone thinks they should look today.

"Some shots appear a bit soft and undefined, but for the most part, the image is remarkably sharp with excellent detail." Again, the noise reduction as implemented is responsible for removing more than just grain and scratches.

"Some effects shots, like those of the German General Erwin Rommel discussing the possible Allied invasion at the beginning, stand out as especially phony under the harsh scrutiny of Blu-ray." Now that is simply the fault of the original source material, not the transfer. Please update this review to reflect what went wrong in the restoration process.

I want to let you know that the “new” special features and 7.1 English audio for the universal blu-ray how to train your dragon release are not new to the universal release but were in fact on the first fox release of the movie.

Long time no talk hope your doing well.

Does The Little Mermaid 4K disc have a Japanese Language track? The Lion King did, hoping for the same.

    Keep up the great reviews,
