as for the receiver, it depends on 2 things, what you want it to be able to do for you that your current receiver cannot currently do (or do well) and then, how much of a budget do you have for the receiver purchase. being realistic and truthful on both will help you determine a short list of receivers that meet your needs then you need to choose what is the best between them and pull the trigger. of course you should do plenty of research from both pro reviews as well as consumers (actual owner/users) look for what pro's and especially consumers warn about and prasie about the receiver. then make your choice with your heart, head & wallet! keep us posted young man!
