i dont have my heart set on either one. The 2011 arent out yet, but I am trying to get out from under my current car and right now would essentially be the better time to try to negotiate. If I cant get the 2010 for a good price, I will wait and get the 2011 Sport and probably not worry about the Navi unless they do a super deal because the 2011 will have the VSA which truly is most important.

I encounter a ridiculous amnt of rain/sitting water on the highway. Which is why I upgraded the tires on my car as it. BUT, i have the worst gps ever. lol. I got the plenio bc of the giant screen bc & hybrids wicked interfere with aftermarket navigations, SO I also had to get an antennae to go w/ it, Couldnt stick it on the windshield because I am paranoid (I had a REALLY bad accident once where the one comment the cops kept making was, I can't believe you made it across, I thought I was coming to identify...BUT, I keep almost nothing in my car bc the pieces fly & hit you...) SO i got this plenio bc it was the perfect size for me to physically mount UNDER my radio, BEHIND my shifter &thus really only useful bc of its voice. BUT i cant seem to contact the koreans for an update!?!?! SO w/ all the construction i REALLY need an update since this is from 07. So since I am considering a new car, GPS is nice, especially since it has voice commands for everything (temp, fan speed, songs etc)

oh and on the 2011 VSA will come standard... as will floor mats on the sport. So the only thing different would be Navi.

Well the thing is that there is a difference between the navi and the sport model. The navi model has VSA and traction control which would also be nice. The difference is a little under 2,000$ so i could deal with it not having Navi, BUT I hope to be moving to Tampa in the very near future and would really need navi. I have a navi unit myself but it has been rather unreliable. I also do not really like how the interior looks without the navigation system. :-\

I have been researching what other people are paying and it seems like 1. not many people even have the fit with navi and 2 the fit is made in japan with limited numbers in the first place so there arent even many on the lots. I think though that these having stuck around for so long they will want to get rid of them BECAUSE they are more expensive than the others with the newer 2011s about to come out. If they do not budge, there is no point in me getting a 2010 at their asking price when I could get a 2011 hehe i LOVE negotiations! bartering was my favorite part of the time I spent in asia!

So far there are really only 3 unless i really start putting some mileage on searching.
The second dealership is asking about $200 higher than the 1st which I replied, "thanks but your starting price is already higher than x" "have a great day!" So i am waiting for their reply. I did not however mention that they are $57 cheaper on their dealership fees

Absolutely. I am working on a quote from another nearby dealership so I can have another price option

yea i am QUITE prepared for the negotiations to last all day. When I got my hybrid I spent 6 hours negotiating 4,000 off the car.
I will most definitely play the loyalty car, as well as being a VERY patient customer with ALL the problems on this car, and getting everything fixed immediately etc. My car is immaculate inside. You could eat off it. Not that I would let anyone. My engine bay is detailed constantly so you dont even get dirty checking it. I just wish I wasnt having issue after issue, then these america honda recalls I am constantly coming in for.

17k would put it at 1,999$ less than what they are asking on the car. My goal is to pay 10-12 after trade
