too, keep in mind that the 2010 models will be firmware upgradable, obviating the need for the converter box/starter pack.

if the set you like is able to firmware upgrade, you'll either need dlp link/universal glasses or the IR emitter from Mitsubishi. if you if you go the IR route, any of the Samsung starter kits would be a good purchase as the glasses are identical to the Mitsubishi glasses. if you go with dlp links, those glasses will only work with dlp tvs. universal glasses are _supposed_ to work with any tv (in case you watch the superbowl at a friends house or have multiple brands of 3D tvs at home), but with either the dlp/universal glasses, you lose out on the exclusive movies Samsung bundles, currently Monsters v Aliens, How to Train Your Dragon + IMAX triple feature, or the Shrek series.
