Man that's a good deal! Way better than what I got. Sorry that you missed it!

Potential burn-in from gaming isn't too much of a concern for me being that I only use the set I bought for the mancave to game on (the 48"). I sit about 3' from the screen and don't need/want anything larger. But yeah, otherwise I might have more concern if I gamed on the 65". But that said, it was explained to me that the Game Optimizer dims static images off and on for moments at a time to prevent burn-in, and if there's no screen activity like when I pause the game, the screen darkens significantly.

The price was already right for me, being that the first time I looked into OLED 5 years ago, they were still upward of $4000. So I jumped on the 65" at the $1699 price from Best Buy, which is roughly what I paid for my Samsung KS8000 65" 5 years ago.

I'm still floored by them every time I turn them on. Watched Free Guy and Dr. Strange recently, both in HDR10. They never looked that good on my prior set. HDR Gaming is also exceptional on the PS4 Pro. I just happened to get a PS5 this morning from PS Direct, can't wait for it to arrive and see it on the C1!

I bought the one for The Mummy Returns too!

I like the score to TMR, especially the end credits and the sequence inside the British Museum. I think this was around the time Goldsmith was having issues due to cancer, so he no longer worked on film scores.

I have the DTS version of the Titanic score too. It's pretty awesome. You can turn down the surround channels and hear the orchestra without the synthesizers, mainly on Southampton and Hard To Starboard.

I own so many copies of that movie and score. It's amazing!

Mine would be pretty boring unless people like hearing about a 42 year old college graduate who lives at home and runs 5 days a week lol

My sister the brainiac who turns on the AC when it's 60 degrees keeps turning it off now that it's 80 degrees. I am going to turn it back on tonight when I wake up one of the many times I open my eyes for some reason before my alarm is scheduled to go off.

That's awesome! I'll have to read what you think of it. The whole entire thing still blows my mind. Have you seen the interview with the whistleblowers? It's insane how bad it became near the end. Sunny and Elizabeth's grip on everyone reached Scientology levels that would probably make Kim Jong -Un blush.

Now we just need a series on Juicero.

I once got banned for saying the Oscar-nominated movie Call Me By Your Name is a vile piece of trash. Those exact words.

Fireworks? Haven't watched the Oscars in years. Too many movies and awards I don't give a witch's teat about.

I didn't get the ending I wanted and it ran out of gas about half-way through lol

"Any insider info on that Re-Animator 4K release from Arrow? I know they leaked that upcoming release page a few months ago but I don't think it was on there?"

The producer confirmed that it's being worked on.
