    Hi Ken,

Read your review of the Universal Monsters Box and am curious as yours is one of the only reviews, both user and professional so far that has had anything negative at all to say about the PQ of this set.

I'm curious as to what your set up is that you use to review. What size screen are you watching this on?

I haven't received my set yet so can not compare.

    Thanks,
    Russ

Thanks for your Supernatural S7 review, I agree it's probably the weakest season to date. But Sera Gamble is out as show runner. Jeremy Carver returns and gives me hope S8 will be much better. He wrote many of my favorite episodes.

"The Rescuers might just be one of Disney's best '70s animated films."
No question. I think it's their best 70's film, period, animated or otherwise. The film defines "heart" for me in animation. Walt was ultimately disappointed with Alice and Peter Pan, because he felt the characters lacked "heart" and he blamed the box office failure of Alice on this. What he was getting at was a lack of affection and connection with the lead characters. Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston said that "heart" didn't mean cutesy or cuddly, it meant sincerity, an almost indescribable affection and engagement. The characters in The Rescuers - especially Penny - are "heart" personified. Penny is just heart-breaking from the first scene on, with her self-esteem issues played on so viciously by Medusa. The Rescuers has an emotional kick lacking in anything else Disney released in the 70's (at least, anything that comes immediately to mind), either live-action or animated. Strong review, as always, Ken.

Any luck Ken looking to see if this scene is in the deleted scenes?

The very last one. Season finale. They filmed it, but it didn't make the cut. Was hoping they out it on in the deleted scenes so that we could see it.

Ken, in the GRIMM deleted scenes, did you see a European Castle scene with a party going on in the background and a phone call to one of the bad guys in the foreground (in a drawing room)?

Thanks for catching that! Worst typo I've had in a while. I knew it was Uruguayan so I'm not sure how it turned into Ukranian as I typed Thanks again!

In your review for "Silent House" you wrote the original was a "Ukranian" film. Correctly it was an "Uruguayan" film
