Oh right, OK. But I would still say where I live in partuicular is alright, its nothing special, but I do only live in a small town called Tewkesbury. But there is one thing quite interesting about it, and it got a lot media coverage, where in the summer of 2007, the town was flooded horrendously ane we had one months worth of rainfall in 24 hours, which isn't great and it didn't help that two rivers run right through the town and join together. Fortunetley our house didn't get flooded because of the area we live in.

But enough of my antics about my town, if you ever do get to come to the UK the make sure you visit the right places, such as the countryside and/or a major city like Cardiff or London, otherwise it won't be very interesting.

Well there is one in Cardiff that I went to about 4 1/2 years ago, which was quite good. I haven't been back since, and if I remember correctly it was only meant to be open one year, but because it was so popular they've kept it open.

There is one thing I could suggest, and I don't know if you've been to one, but you attend a Doctor Who convention, which would be a good way of getting into the siprite of Doctor Who without leaving the country. I've been to three in the past and they're very enjoyable because you actually get to meet all the people who have been in the show.
There aren't many planned for the US at the moment, but there is this annual on the occurs in February every year - Just a thought.

    It's a shame though.

Well I have just had a look and there are three in Birmingham, which is good for me as Birmingham is only about 45-60 minutes away from where I live, and they seem to be doing them at every major city in the UK.

I've found a link to the official website to give you a bit more info -

Well it's worth a try, and you never know...

And I don't know if I'll get to go, but it's worth a try. I think the concerts are happening around October/November, I just hope that there is a venue that is practical for me to get to.

That is quite sad actually that it's not only slightly popular, but at least you got your friends into and you're doing your bit to try and make it more well-known.

And thanks for reminding me about the Doctor Who Live concert, I had totally forgotten about it. But my 18th birthday is coming up in the middle of August, so I'll ask for a ticket to got see it.

Does sound quite eerie, it makes you think. But I do wonder how Amy is going to be included in it, because Karen didn't leave at the end of The Big Bang and there's no clear indication that she's going to be in it... hmmmm.

Oh, and there was something else I wanted to ask you. How popular is Doctor Who in the US, because there's huge fan-base there, but within the general puplic how well known is it? Because naturally here in the UK it's extremely popular and you'd be very hard-pressed to find someone who had never heard of it, but this question has been one I've always wondered about.

Oh PJ, I've just remembered something. I don't know if you watch The Sarah Jane Adventures if there is something I think you should know and that is, like last year with David Tennant, Matt Smith will be in one of the stories in this years series along with Katy Manning who played companion Jo Grant during Jon Pertwee's time as the Doctor.
Sorry if you already knew, but I'd just remembered about it.
