    I put a post on about the rotel stuff. Personally I love the 7 channel sound with movies and if you like movies and 2 channel music I'd do the the 1572 and 75. I think the damping factor and S/N ratio are greater than you current amp. I am not sure. I don't think you would be unhappy with the class D. I love to kick back with a beer and listen to hours of 2 channel music. And as I stated in the thread, the power cord allowed me to crank up the base giving classical music a great punch that didn't over power the rest of the music. I don't know how 'warm' sounding a class A/B is to the rotel, but I didn't not hear a difference significant enough even when compared to lexicon and Classe' amps with B&W's and it was such a huge improvement over my old denon 4800 that I had no regrets getting the rotel gear.
