Is there any issue with Blu-ray DVD’s causing them to stop working properly after someone owned them for a few months? The first time this happened is with “Disney Tangled” then “Despicable Me 2” and now “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial”. The first time the DVD is played it worked just fine, then after a few plays the DVD develops areas where it stops and produces video distortion and then jumps to the next chapter. There are no scratches or visible damage of any kind to the DVD disk. Disney had me send the DVD back to them for testing and they noticed it doing the same thing using their equipment, so they sent me a replacement and now it is working just fine. Universal also sent me a replacement for “Despicable Me 2” without having to send back the defective DVD and now it is also working just fine, but they seem to be hesitating even refusing to contact me to replace “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial”. Do these companies get their DVD copies mass produced in China using inferior materials?

Please help me. I am trying to get an answer to my problem with Blu-ray
DVDs. I am not good with using online forums and I have the hardest time
trying to make a post because I can not find where in the maze to do it. The
last time I just happened to stumble upon the correct page but it refused to
post because it said I was a new user so I can not post at this time, this
is all for some reason I do not know about.
