Hi,

could Shout Factory get their hands on the rights to Walter Hill's Last Man Standing and create a new transfer like they did with other Warner titles (Cobra, In the Mouth of Madness)? Last Man Standing looks terrible on Blu-ray Disc and uses an ancient Telecine HD transfer.

I have been following the thread for your upcoming 4K UHD release of Halloween 4 and wanted to let you know I have the laserdisc in my collection and transferred the Ultra Stereo track to uncompressed PCM files a few months ago. I would be more than happy to provide a copy to you and the team either for use on the finished disc in its entirety or perhaps to help you patch in some of the missing elements for the new remix. First, still have to say thanks for THE ISLAND on blu-ray. I can't say enough for releasing that in HD.

Second, I was wondering that if/when you get around to CAPRICORN ONE you could use a bit of CGI to digitally erase the tow cable connected to the Fed car on the tarmac when the lear jet hits it:
