On that thread where you asked questions about a region free blu-ray player, I posted links for purchasing a mod kit, the instructions and then you would just have to purchase an Oppo BDP-80. The Oppo already does PAL to NTSC conversion so you would be good to go there too. Hope this helps!

I switched because the surrounds were my wife's eyesore with the Klipsch's and so I bought the 5800's now in the Loft, because they couldn't handle the Amp. So I chose the Paradigm's and I had to match speaker's, because sonically they will sound alot better..That pretty much sums it up besides the Piano finish that goes with my Decor ( none boxy Look and wanted something different) and the center channel on the Paradigm I believe has a wider sound field and is tighter and more crisp with clarity than the Klipsch does(my opinion though)it vary with what you listen too(everybody has different EarCandy)..Don't get me wrong I will allways Love my Klipsch because I "Play It loud" and for the Money a Steal...Thanks Again Sarge with your inquiry with my HT, Mike

The Onkyo amp in my bedroom setup is a M-5140 it's 105x2 ch. and I too got mine from my dad. They bought it new with a full Onkyo setup in the late 80's, they still use the Onkyo preamp with a denon receiver, just so they can playback vinyl. The amp still works great though, and since it was free for me, it's even better. Still blends well with the modern gear despite the fact that it's over 20 years old.
