Nah, I really appreciate the info. The Walmart exclusive is the version I'd prefer to get. I'm starting to regret not picking it up release week even though it was priced a bit high. I gambled that I'd see it again at a lower price like many of the other Walmart exclusives.

I don't really keep track of what goes OOP so I wouldn't have come across this info on my own. Now, if I see it again, I'll know to get it right away and not play around. So, thank you.

I think the OOP one is the Walmart exclusive w/ Vudu code. The regular release (796019829113) is still listed as 'Out'.

Glad to hear you found a copy and were able to get it for the lower price. All of the stores in my area have also changed to out of stock now.

Yes, I'll have my fingers crossed that the next season will also get a retail release. I don't buy any MODs so that would really stink. Ideally, we'll be sharing info on who is stocking S3 a few months after it finishes airing.

I entered the zip code of the store which still had two copies on the shelf after I bought mine and it's giving an Aug 7th date. Unless both copies were sold in the past 2 days or there is a restriction (ie. 3 copies or more have to be in stock similar to Best Buy), it appears to be wrong in this case.

Right below the orange "Add to Cart" button on the far right of the page is the "Add to List" button. Right below that is unclickable space that says "Sold by Walmart .com". Directly below that it says "FREE pickup See pickup options" and that's how to check. Click on that and enter your zip code. If it gives a pickup date of today then it's in stock. If it gives a date 2 weeks (or more) in the future then it's assumed that they need to order it from somewhere and wait for it to arrive. There have been times where it's wrong ime, but generally it gives good info.

Of course it would drop in price just a few hours after I bought it.

How do you check in-store stock?

Thanks! The computer shows no stores in my area carrying it, do you know if the site shows it in-stock at the store you went to? I'm guessing I'm out of luck, unless the inventory is purposely omitting that item? Meanwhile, the site right now shows a price of $16.63, which would be great. I haven't had good luck with site to store, so hopefully this'll show up at an actual store.
