One more thing Columbo style! Forgot to update you on Dracula. My first steel had a scratched 4K BUT it didn’t skip. The scratches were quite fine but it drove me nuts seeing those scratches and I was unable to request a return. Steel is back in stock now. So I got a replacement. 4K disc looked scratch free but lots of lint crap. The steel was also dented but my original is in better shape. Anyway..the new 4K freaking skipped about 2/3 through the film. It was very brief. So I cleaned off the disc and watched it again today and it seemed ok. Going to watch it one more time just to be sure and I’ll give the disc another wipe beforehand.

So glad we’re getting TWM from SC with a flipper tray and not stacked discs. That’s awesome they had a bar named after Point Break in the city. Not happy it’s coming from Shout but glad we’re getting a 4K finally plus I’m so used to just requesting replacements from AMZ. At least it’s easy to do. Fargo is another I’m really excited for.

I’m waiting for the Kino BF sale to see if more titles will drop to $15. We’re so close but perhaps inflation hit them and we won’t get it.

I almost got The Wicker Man wooden box set long ago. Just never got around to getting the Blu although I was waiting for the standard to drop. THEN Imprint came out with that big box. At that point I knew a 4K was imminent..heh.

Hopefully Cole will get his 1st Cy Young. A lot of rumors saying he’ll opt out after the season but I don’t see it happening. I can’t root for the Sox, Dodgers, or Houston, so you’ve got me on your team for the post season haha!

Odd how your copy isn’t marked as shipped yet from Orbit. Perhaps they’re awaiting a second shipment from across the pond? I did order mine before you.. Mine was scanned in by USPS this afternoon but I doubt I’ll get it Saturday.

The Wicker Man is on its way! Got my shipping notice from Orbit a few hours ago. Pretty sure they ship media mail but I expect to have it by Saturday since I'm on the east coast.

I’m going to snag Carlito’s Way. Already have the recent Zavvi release of Fifth Elememt. Glad to see the Ghostbusters 4K steel is getting another run but unfortunately no DV or mono tracks which came with the box set.

I’ll be getting NBK & Valentine at some point. Definitely the former first! The Exorcist is far from reference quality and it was never meant to be but it’s funny how they’re tearing the transfer apart on the boards. They’re comparing the DVD now..it’s a circus in there LOL! I only watched the DC but I’ll be checking out the theatrical tomorrow. Impressive that they’re both BD-100s.

Exorcist arrived today which was a surprise for a Sunday but the post office was also delivering my Amazon package of Dracula. More on that later.

I thought it looked good, but not great. Honestly I found the scenes in Iraq to be the most impressive. The outdoor scenes just really pop! Grain is evident for the most part but sometimes disappears. It’s still the best it has ever looked. Screw the purists, I say! Glad I got it. You should be happy with it.

Dominguez is out for 9-10 months with a torn UCL. Talk about a tough break. 4 home runs in 8 games felt very Shane Spencer-esque. I hope he has a solid recovery but getting injured that early could sadly mean more issues during his career.

I ordered Batman ‘89 for $10. That was my latest. I actually owned the 4-disc set but Returns was skipping. Turns out it was scratched (no surprise) along with a few others and Best Buy would not send a replacement. Cheaper to get them individually I guess.

For a good laugh..be sure to watch the highlights from the Yanks/Brewers game. They were no hit through 10 and managed to win it in the 13th! One of the weirdest games I’ve ever watched. Like one of the worst wins ever!

Yeah Sleepy Hollow is far from perfect but I’ve just always loved the original story.

Did you go after the Sleepy Hollow Steelbook? I managed to get one! A few small dings but it is what it is. Blu-ray is scratched but the 4K is good.

I know you were swept as well but didn’t want to bring it up lol. What?! Wicker Man got pushed back? Ugh!
