Hello Geoff, I have the European remastered blu of Gladiator, and I wanted to ask you if it is worth buying the 4K. Thank you

Fine thanks, I can't advise on BATB '91 as I don't have the UHD. I don't think I've actually seen the film before so wouldn't be much use as to what it should/shouldn't look like anyways.

Hi Geoff, how are you bro? I'm thinking of buying Beauty and the Beast (1991), taking into account that I don't have it in any physical format, is it worth buying the 4K version or just the bluray? I ask you directly because I think you are the one who knows the most about technical issues related to the image among all users and also I did not see many reviews about the UHD on the internet. Regards

    hello my dear friend

I am searching for last 20minutes, can't find thread where you was talking what other stuff 4K is bringing for us, besides 4K and new sound...
you wrote like 6 lines HDR, WCG, etc....

WOuld you be so kind to send me direct link please?
I want to send it to my friend, who thinks 4K is just upscale....

    thank you,

Me as well. As you probably know, Tremors has always been a consistent seller for the studio, hence the numerous DTV sequels and the fact that it was always one of the first titles Universal spat out onto new formats (DVD, HD DVD, Blu). But the significant rise in quality means they would probably have to actually put some effort into a new transfer. Personally, I’m just hoping somebody like Arrow gets it at this point and treats it right. I would also say Shout, but there’s an equal chance they’d just use the same transfer and only commission some new extras and some grindhouse artwork. Even if Uni themselves did it, there’s a chance it would just get Jurassic Parked, and even then they wouldn’t bother including a remastered BD. Sigh.

UK is the same shite as the US version, yeah. I sure hope Universal give it a UHD sooner rather than later.
