    Hi Jeffrey,
    I was hoping I could convince you to update the 4K VIDEO score in your review of 3:10 To Yuma. If you look at these comparisons: https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?a=1&x...4&l=0&i=7&go=1 you can clearly see that the UHD is a dramatic step DOWN in detail compared to the Blu-ray. This is a travesty of a disc from Lionsgate and I believe your review should reflect that to prevent your readers from purchasing a terrible product and to hold companies like Lionsgate to a much higher standard.
    Thank you for reading! Have a great day.

    Hello,

    Was reading your review of the "Roadie" blu-ray from Shout and your notation about the absence of the 5.1 audio track.

    You might be amused by the last two paragraphs of Roger Ebert's review from 1980. It appears the sound for this movie was doomed from the beginning!

    Footnote: "Roadie" is being shown in some situations in Dolby Stereo, but that was little inspiration to the audiences at the Water Tower theater Sunday afternoon. One Dolby channel was out to lunch, so that the movie's dialog sounded thin and distorted, and the music either boomed or whispered.

    I complained about the sound and was informed the system was on the blink; doesn't a theater have an obligation in a situation like that (especially with a movie where hearing the music's the whole point) to post a warning at the box office?

    Hi Jeffrey,

    I'm sure Svet or Patrick may have let you guys know already, but I'm taking over for Michael Reuben during his gradual "retirement" as a reviewer. Just wanted to say hi and that it's good to be writing alongside you again. Anyway, thanks for having me and I look forward to chipping in as best I can.

    Jeffrey;
    I enjoyed your review of Kino Lorber's Blu-ray edition of The Appaloosa and appreciate you mentioning the commentary by myself and Paul Scrabo. However, someone sent me the link to the review and pointed out an error. I would urge you to listen to the first few minutes of our commentary track again, as you misconstrued what we said. In your review you say that we state that 1966 was the last great year for westerns. In fact, we never say that- quite the opposite. We point out that critics tend to say the western was in decline during the sixties and we say we believe that is nonsense, given the amount of great films of the genre that defined that era. I believe you misheard what we said and would respectfully request that you change the first lines of your review to more accurately reflect that our opinion is the exact opposite of what you state. Thank you.

    Good afternoon Mr. Kauffman,
    I"m watching Disc 13 of the Gatchaman series on blu ray. It has more than trailers. I'm watching a 50 min. Gatchaman movie that I didn't know was on here. I haven't explored the other extras yet that are on here along with trailers.

    Hi Mr Kauffman, I share your obsession with Easy Listening, but only as an interest and small collection. (And at least tangentially related, support LuxuriaMusic.com) I wonder if you have written or contemplate writing, a book on the subject? You seem to have the deep memory and quirky knowledge and professional skills to make it a possibility. Cheers

    I noticed in your Jackson 5ive blu ray review that you mentioned the show's theme being left uncompressed on the menu. Is it in stereo or dual mono?

    Thanks.

    Hi Jeff, first off, I also live in Portland, Oregon.

    Now, I've been looking at the stats for Justice League: Season One Blu-ray and saw that the release used three BD-25 discs. Could Warner have used a BD-50 and a BD-25 instead and called it a day or what?
