Love your use of the AR 312HO's and your sub system in the theater is just awesome . Check out my modest system when you get the chance....

Thanks Dustin, The deck is a bit small I built it about 14 years ago. I plan on making it larger next year. We really enjoy it, the furniture is very comfortable I can't tell you how many time I have fallin asleep out there. The Polk sub works great it shakes the deck, you can get good pricing on them through Polks Ebay store. The sound out there is awesome. Thanks again.

That answers my question. All you are using is the amp and running a left and right wire out of the amp to the transducer. You are pulling your signal to the amp from one of your other subs to signal the amp to turn on and apply power to the transducer. Like you said that amp is a bit overkill but it was the right price. The dayton I have is 150 watts and I can shake the shit out of the seat. Thanks for your time and explanation.

Havent used a crossover because the plate amp is plugged, via line level input, into an output jack of another sub which is getting the calibrated signal from my Pioneer reciever. I tried plugging into the crossover and using it at 40hz on the plate amp but decided I preferred the same signal as the rest of the bass. Seems like a waste of a good amp though, I recently had an old subwoofer upstairs take a dive and I may try using it's 120w amp to run it dont know the amps ohm rating though. Hope Im not missunderstanding the question did that answer it? or are you asking what I used to build the box? Dustin

The box looks just fine and does the job. I guess my question is you have the amp in the box are you using a crossover? The transducer is 4 ohms what else did you use. Sorry I never built anything like that I am still learning.
    Thanks John

Love the new custom stand. I would pay for one like it. I have zero carpenter skills. Lol

Yes I just bought the Dayton and the Clark. I love it, but I did remember you had made your own and I was thinking to do the same. Maybe if I add more trasducers I will use the Dayton amp for another project. Thanks for the help and the picks.

Do you have any close up pics of the 600 rms plate amp box you made to run your transducer?
