How are you liking your Goldenears?

What happend to the emovita amp you had? your signature says you have a new amp can you notice the difference?

Glad it worked out, it seemed to make a difference to me. I know another guy on the AVS forum I had told him to try the spike he thought I was crazy and was going to sell the 28's because he was not happy with them. Well after he put the spikes on felt the sound had totally changed and was the very happy with the 28's. Maybe its all in our heads who knows.

Cool. Yes I feel the spikes make a difference. The 28's and 15's seem to be very sensitive on placement and direction. I made some lexan disc's to put the 28's and 15's on, now that the 28's are no longer in the living room I don't need them any longer. If you want the disc's I made you are welcome to them, they are nothing fancy but you can then use the spikes on the hardwood floors. They are free to you let me know and I will ship them to you.

Which BDI did you get? I was going to buy the Avion Series 2. Decided on the Standout design because it was all wood. I am using the spikes on the 28's with the front dialed out a bit more than the backs. Get some pics up in the HT section, love to see the new stand. Congrates.
