That's a HUGE book and I've only skimmed through parts. I like fantasy and romance. I read well, but a book truly has to catch my eye for me to really get into it and finish it. And once I do get involved in a book like that it is nigh impossible to put down. As a result though I go through phases. I'll watch movies for a while and then slack off. Then I'll read and then that'll slack off. I suppose that's normal though.

So you enjoyed Ready Player One? The book. I got it at home now and will read it sometime soon. After I finish the current Nora Roberts trilogy I'm on called The Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy. Yeah, I don't normally look for romance novels like that, but I saw these and was like Witches fighting a dark sorcerer in Ireland? I'm in.

Thanks for the kind words, DukeWayne! You've got a solid collection yourself, with some great underrated films in the fold (Assault on Precinct 13, for instance).

Hello, Thought I'd check out your forum profile here after running into you in a thread. Just when I thought I was buying too many Blu-rays, it seems my collection is not all that large after all. I was also just looking over some of your Blu-ray Reviews, impressive. I've enjoyed your reviews that I've read so far.

Hello. I was reading through the Code Red thread and noticed you had ordered Scream on Jan. 23rd. I too ordered the same film on Jan. 23rd as well, and was wondering if you had received your order yet? The only reason I'm asking is because I haven't received my order yet, and nothing has changed on my shipping tracking since pre-shipment notification was received by the USPS.

Thanks! I've been revisiting quite a few of my 80s soundtracks lately, thanks in part to binge-watching the new Miami Vice Blu-ray set.

Hey Owl! Just wanted to reccomend The Musical Notation podcast to you. Host West Anthony discusses 80s/Classic/and Noir soundtracks in cool 20 minute nuggets. The 80s soundtrack corner episodes are particular standouts.

I cannot afford 4K right now, but really 1080p is wonderful. I don't see any deficits. Maybe in a few more years. I cannot wait to watch mine as well. I'm off for a couple of days, but I'm waiting for just the right moment. It's a great film and I want to savor it.

You picked up TFA today I see. I got all four versions because I am a collector when it comes to films this big and awesome. The BB-8 slip is wonderful. The standard is beautiful and beautifully simple. I love the embossing on the title and the art within the letters. The Target version has nice images, but the disc setup is a bot on the bothersome side. It reminds me none too fondly of the Indy set and that set made me so afraid I would damage the discs trying to get them out.
