Maybe if I saw the movie again. Instead seeing Sana Lathaan as a cheap grab to get an urban audience, and more in the terms of Machiko Noguchi-infuence maybe I can get past some of it. Still, the watered-down, sanitized violence, excessive CGI and overall creature design still gets to me. The yautjas (yeah, I went here) look like clunky guys wearing football padding. Perhaps I was so upset when I saw it, which was only the one time in the theater, that was actively looking for things to be upset about instead of enjoying the ride. Then I think of how they totally wasted a big, interesting opportunity to incorporate Weyland (and I LOVE Henriksen, too).

Thanks man! And yup, those are actual comics. My favourite cover is actually #3! haha yeah I love everything when it comes to aliens and predator. I think I might have most of the alien vs predator comics and I'm right there with you.I was pretty young when I read all those stuff and couldn't understand them, even now they're a pretty heavy read. lol are you my twin separated at birth? lolz! With regards to the film, you're right, it is an utter embarrassment when compared to works of art before it, but taken on its own I thought it was a pretty fun, leave you brain at the door, kinda movie. How about you? How's your collection of avp like?
