No - not searching , I actually had the 22L's in my home before. What I did get is a pair of Wharfedale 9.2's, they sound very similar to the quad 12L's. I've also gone back to Klipsch heresy for HT and I've done major upgrades to them - different speaker altogether - in fact take a look at my gallery now for all the changes!

Hey Sokrman! I didn't go with Quad but I did go with the sister company for my subs!!! I have 2 brand new Wharfedale SW-380's in my system now (tri-lam woofer - 15 inch) finished in maple. Now I'm actually eyeing the Quad 21L2's (three across the front)...maybe

Just letting you know in case you haven't found out yet. I purchased the copy of Green Street Hooligans and it DOES work on my Region A player.

Yeah I have a thread right now that discusses the difference in sound between 2 different BD players using the same system and bitstreaming - the only thing I can say is if you can get both in your house and demo them - keep the one that sounds best. I personally think that even Bitstreaming units sound different than each other! I've done test here and people constantly choose one over another. It was weird!!! By the way those are the 22L2's that were in the shoot out My son has received enough gear fjrom me - time for him to buy his own!

I am glad you like them so much. Have you been listening to the L2's or their original L series? I have the original L series and wonder if the L2's give any improvement. I moved to Omaha recently, and there are no dealers out here for me to listen to them. Maybe you should just give your son the Quads!!! Anyways, I am have a question for you. Oppo BDP-83 (not the SE) or the Denon DBP-2010? They both use the VRS by Anchor Bay, but I believe the Oppo's uses a better chip, and I would be bitstreaming to my Denon AVR3808CI, so I don't know if any audio benefits of the Denon are worth it since I wont be using analog. What do you think?

Sorkman, same results with the Quads again but this time I know why I can't get rid of the Snell (or shall I say Audio Note AN-E/D's). After listening I googled other reviewers opinions of the Audio Notes - they do not disappear like the Quads and others, but you can never get them to sound bad! That's the problem - everything I put in them sounds enjoyable (with the exception of very bad material)! They actually make you forget that you are listening to a speaker and you just start listening to music and enjoying it. It's weird but big big props to the Quads again - they are both very good - I just can't let go of my AN-E's - my son is trying to make me get the Quads so he can have the AN-E's told him it won't work
