No, I don't mind at all. It's actually The Smoking Man, one of the early artwork pieces from my favorite band, Streetlight Manifesto.

It would be nice if there was a resurgence of interest in 70mm films. A nice way to kick things off would be a faithful remastering of Patton on Blu-ray.

Hello, Clark. Glad to join the band wagon in praise for bringing 70mm restored movies to Blu-Ray. Your enthusiasm is catching.

I thought the movie was great, initially. Then, as I listen to others, the movie was flawed... Routh's performance was great, filling Reeve's shoes, playing essentially the same Superman. What Singer did do wrong: changing the costume's color, leaving Supes with a kid, having Luthor's henchmen whup Supes' ass... and he didn't get his back! WTF? I really wondered what Singer's plans were for the sequel. He mentioned all-out action for pt. II and too bad he wasn't given a chance. Routh did well though.

The Superman I grew up with was Christopher Reeve and so I dearly love the original movies. But Superman Returns was definitely a solid modern update. I loved the use of John Williams' original theme. My main quibbles with it were the overly-dark shades of red and blue in the costume and using Luthor as a villain again. Brandon Routh made a very credible Superman though.
