But if you think that the new release of "Staying Alive" offers good or great presentations of the film in 4K and 1080p, you definitely should consider a tune-up of your system, or a very big upgrade.

Anyone insisting that the "restored" visuals below look good or great should not waste precious time and resources investing in 4K. Or Blu-ray.

I think your setup either needs calibrated or you need a new TV. Your reviews are way off base and are very clearly incorrect.

Hey Doc, did you happen to notice if the surrounds were in stereo on the Criterion La Bamba release? The original track would have been Dolby Stereo with mono surrounds, and there was no 70mm blow up release for a 6-track mix. Thanks.

Regarding your review of OUTRAGE (1950): It looks like you named the actress who plays the young woman as Ann Walton. However, "Ann Walton" is the name of the character, which is played by Mala Powers.
