Martin, I may have good news for you regarding the inability of your Panasonic DP-UB9000 to play the "Elizabeth" blu ray, as mentioned in your "Elizabeth 4K" review.

I had the same problem on my Panasonic DP-UB9000 trying to play my "To Kill A Mockingbird" blu ray, also after the firmware update. The good news is that I found a fix online, not through Panasonic, but searching through web comments. It seems that the problem stems from the player trying to access BD-Live content on the disc. It just gets stuck on the Universal logo spinning around. To fix this, go to the player's settings, and disable the BD-Live feature. I believe it's in the "Network" tab of the settings section. Go to BD-Live and disable it. Once you've done that, like magic, everything should work fine!

I was so glad to find that, because I think the player is magnificent, and didn't want to have to use a different machine just because of a problem disc or two. Good luck!

I noticed your review back in 2021 of The Court Jester in the Paramount Presents series and wanted to inform you that Paramount has recently released a 4K version of the film streaming in its OAR of 1.85:1. It looks spectacular in 4K!

On your review of season 11 of The Walking Dead, you reference that there's a Movies Anywhere code, but Lionsgate doesn't do MA.

Is that commentary track on the RED EYE 4K Disc too or are all the extras only on the bundled blu ray?
