Watch both of those MG movies again now!

And I guess those are two plausible explanations. It still seems kind of pointless to me but maybe I'll figure it on my next viewing.

Can you tell me why MechaGodzilla was wearing a Godzilla suit in the 1974 movie? I'm not sure the movie explained why the space invaders decided to disguise him at first.

Heh well maybe you're right. I just enjoy pitying myself sometimes.

V is definitely underrated. I know there are some fans who feel the story/characters aren't unique enough but I think the developers new exactly what they wanted to achieve, especially with the light-hearted tone. And I'd rather play a FF game with an incredibly well-structured battle system than a thousand cinema scenes and rather uninspired game play.

Yeah it took me almost a decade of indecision before I finally crowned VI as better than VII. Maybe you just need some time.

Back in my youth (I'm 28), I successfully defeated Emerald and Ruby Weapon in the PC version of VII but last year I tried to take them on in the PSX version and failed miserably. I may have lost my touch.

I also beat all of the super bosses in FFV Advance, which was one of the funnest games I've ever played. I love that class system!

VI is still my favorite after all these years but all things considered, I'd probably give second place to IX. I agree that it's very close to flawless. I've played it through twice and completed nearly every side quest except fighting Ozma. I'm always a bit scared to fight FF super bosses.

Yay Kuja! One of my favorite FF villains and IX is one of my favorite games in the series.
