payment means investment....ever wondered why psn is slooooooow, and has so little content ??? lack of investment i down loaded the BFBC demo from both services live down loaded within half hour, psn.....i turned off the download after 4 hrs and it was only at 36 %

hell you wouldnt buy a car and expect the petrol for free...?????

to say something is "dumb" because you have to pay,is a little bit...well...dumb,

if sony decided that they were gonna charge a monthly fee for psn, would you pay ????, as by your own admission your a *sony fanboy* (something i would not be so proud of stating) i think that the answer would be unequivocally...YES !
If Sony so much as whispered the thought of a rumor of charging for online service, the backlash would be insurmountable. The only thing I'm worried about from HOME is will it turn into what I hear from (virtually) everyone that uses Xbox Live: the unrelenting racist and anti-gay bile spewed over the microphones. I'm not one of these people that can't stand the sound of curse words, but there is still such a thing as decency (though it is waning). From what I understand, the jokes lobbed in-game on PS3 (what are you, 12? Shouldn't you be on Xbox Live?) is not wholly unfounded.
Even from hardcore Xbox fans (not all of them, mind you, but the number is swelling) who say how "bored" they're getting with Live. If that trend continues, then HOME is half of what it's hyped to be...that will be the death rattle.
