Star Wars 3, Never reached original star wars good, but in its own right an amazing movie... especially the ending.
South Park, personal preference I guess, but it's one of the very few comedy movies that actually makes me laugh, also has a fun storyline which is surprisingly deep for what you'd expect.
Half Baked, alright... I smoke pot sometimes... but it's hilarious.
Boyz in tha hood, no idea what your problem with this movie is, maybe you've never seen it? It's really incredible.

As for the old classics... I have a few older movies.. like the Wizard of Oz. But... I find that a lot of older black&white movies lean too much into romantic territory. Also there needs to be a combination of being entertaining and good plot. To Kill a Mockingbird also almost made the list.
To Kill a Mockingbird is better than a many of the ones you listed. As far as a lot lean toward romance is ridiculous. That is like saying the same thing for color movies. Alfred Hitchcock is far from romance. The Birds, Rear Window, North by North West fantastic movies.
