With 4K I highly doubt there will be anyone arguing that 2K looks better. Plenty of people won't want to upgrade because of the expense (this is true of upgrading from DVD to Blu-ray as well) but they aren't saying that 4K looks worse as many people do with 3D. There certainly would never be a case where someone with a 4K TV would ever watch the 2K version of a movie on that TV when they have the 4K version.
