And for the love of god if they think a spinoff would do it, they are wrong. PS3 already has a spinoff slated for it (FFXIII vs) and nobody cares.

Prediction: Final Fantasy 7 Complete :P The FF7 remake, plus adding in all the stuff left on the cutting floor from the first FF7. Sony doing most of the backing for it, and will not be multiplat. Had the choice of FF7 or FF13, took FF7. To put icing on the cake, it's already has been in development from the technical demo back in 2005 -- Ready for Christmas 08 release!

I'm with Ter here. It'll be some sequel or spin off of the FF7 franchise (which is really what it has become). But I don't see KH3 or FF7:Insert Spinoff Here swinging any pendulum back. I think it's a lot of hype for an upcoming 'we need money' title.
