Um, first of all does ur current reciever have HDMi? if it does, attach it there first, before it goes to the tv, and then u will have your pcm audio through it. IF you don't have an hdmi input on your reciever, then use the 6 channel analog outputs on the back of the sony and plug them into your reciever in the analog inputs.
THis method can also transport the pcm audio, if your not experiencing this, your not experiencing next generation audio.
I belive that the DD True HD and DTS Master Audio will travel through the analog outputs as well as long as u set your player to decode it internally. Well hope that clears the mud a little bit
