This rotel looks cool, and I'm looking for a replacement pre/pro that offers XLR outputs, without the desire for Atmos. But like you said, $3500 sounds a bit too pricey...

If you remember a few years back, Rotel offered a similar flagship pre/pro for a very high price tag....they don't hold value.

I'm holding out for Emotiva's reference pre/pro....MUCH better value than the Rotel unit.

I thought $3500 would be negotiable...after speaking to my rotel dealer the best price they can offer is around $3299....plus tax
