The link was two quotes from GRRM himself saying the show will be deviating from the books and discussing how much longer it could go on. He wouldn't spoil anything and many others agreed that there definitely wasn't a spoiler anywhere in the article.
As for what he posted it's clearly a spoiler and regardless of which season it occurs it's not a hard concept to use the spoiler tag. Especially when you chastise someone else for it and what they posted wasn't even an actual spoiler.
Have some courtesy for those who bought the blu-ray in hopes of getting into the series.
