I actually liked this movie. Nick Nolte was an excellent villian, the story was intelligently written and engaging as drama, and the comicbook panelling was pretty neat. (In a way, I'm kind of glad it failed at the box office. Had it been successful, one could easily imagine every hack in Hollywood trying to replicate that comic-book splitscreen and failing terribly)
As a matter of fact, I'd even rate it as one of the my absolute favourite superhero movies, ever. Just below 'Batman Returns' and 'The Dark Knight' and just ahead of 'Superman'
