I don't have that particular model of Samsung, but after doing some research it looks yours is almost identical to mine, yours is just a newer version. I love my Samsung, I've had no problems with it in the short 6 months or so I have owned it. It is the first LCD I have bought and I couldn't be happier. From watching Blu-rays, to watching sports, to playing PS3, no complaints.
Again, your prospective model is different so take my experience with a grain of salt. Just because model X is great, that doesn't mean model Y will be. But I have complete faith in Samsung TV's so personally, I would feel comfortable with that TV. However, you can rarely go wrong with a Sony.
