Thank You - Thoughts on Ext'd Warr?
Would like to say thanks for your feedback, we went ahead and bought the pioneer 5080HD and a sony blu-ray (TV will be here thurs).
I'll p/u a shaw HD cable box around there.
Do you guys have any opinions on the $200.00 monster surge protectors and/ or Future shop's extended warranty.
We got the TV for $1777.00, the BD plyr for $299.00 but wasn't entirely sure whether th ext'd warrany for $499.00 was a good idea.
We bought it on visa which gives an extra year for mfg's warranty - think thats sufficient?
